Thangmo is a living confiscated Female ♀ Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) , located at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center (TECC), in Thailand.
Thangmo arrived in 2012-06-03 to the Thai Elephant Conservation Center (TECC), relocated from the Surin elephant kingdom (Ban Ta Klang elephant village), in Thailand.

Thangmo was born unknown 2006.
Former streetbegging elephant. Seized in Surin because it was in very bad shape. 2013-09-30: Naetiwin Amorsin, the owner of a four-year-old female elephant, Phang Taengmo, submitted a complaint with Surapong Kongchantuk, a member of the Lawyer's Council of Thailand’s human rights committee, on Monday. The lawyer said he would act on the petition unless the state moved quickly to return the elephant.
