Aja is a living Female ♀ African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) , located at the Rhenen Zoo, in Netherlands.
Aja arrived in 2006-04-07 to the Rhenen Zoo, relocated from the Sevilla Exotic animals reserve, in Spain.

The three elephants of Ouwehands Dierenpark in Rhenen are managed in protected contact with target training. Aja had previously killed a keeper.
