1963: Tembo left for Circus Knie after a few months and ultimately became breeding bull at Hannover ZooDr. Peter Dollinger, Zoo Office Bern, Switzerland Until his death by 26 years of age, the bull Tembo was kept chained night time in the stable, which was possible due to the free contact management by elephant keeper Wolfgang Ramin.
