During my practice in Hannover 1984 under head elephant keeper Rolf Amelung, Rolf told me they wanted to sell the bull. Back in Sweden I spoke with Boras Zoo who had two young african females, suggesting themto buy Kibo. The Zoologist Nisse Hillden found the idea good, and Kibo was sold to Borås Zoo in Sweden in 1986.
