Maria, born November 12, 1902 in Wunstorf, died November 29, 1991 in Lausen, by Hallau SH, daughter of Ludwig Bauer, tightrope walker, circus entrepreneur, and Anna Wittmann von Gundolsheim, Alsace.

Marriage 1926 Dominikus Gasser, artist, circus entrepreneur, von Hallau SH. Tightrope walker, acrobat, director of Circus Olympia, mother of eight children, all active in national and international artistry.

Lost both legs in a car accident. Travels with the company for another 30 years, cared for by her daughter-in-law. Spends the last years of her life with her daughter in Lausen.
