Venta was born wild 1959.

Contradictory records:

EEG states Venta was born 1952, arrived in Riga Zoo apr 1952 and apr 1972 in Kazan.
But according to Daiga Leimane Riga Zoo its questionable wether this elephant ever was in Riga Zoo, and the EEP studbook only mention that Venta arrived in Kazan 1963, and was born in 1959.
