2007-03-10: animal trainer Erwin Frankello Jr. attacked by Moritz. during feeding grabbed Frank and pushed him into a wall, then tusked him in the stomach with one tusk. Erwin Frankello Jr. Survived. severe inner injuries, long and intensive operation at hospital, where he had to stay during several months. Moritz was transferred to Protected Contact.

Erwin Frankello is winner of a Silver Clown award during the gala of the 41st Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival in Monaco January 24, 2017.
