Makhna:

Makhna means tusk less. In most cases the term is referred to tusk less males, or males with very small tushes.

In several places in India, I have been told by the mahouts, that Makhnas has not as deep and uncontrolled musth as the tuskers, bure outside the musth period more unpredicteable.
