Bruma was born wild at Thailand unspecified location.

She arrived at the collection from Thailand in 1950, and was sent to São Paulo Zoo in 1975, when she killed Zoo Agenor owner Agenor Gomez, and the Zoo was closed.

She remained there until 1994, when she died.
