Hoppe was born * 1950 , son of director Oskar Hoppe and director Apollonia Hoppe .

Apollonia, fourth wife of Oskar Hoppy, gave birth in 1950 to Ossy Hoppe; after his early beginnings as a child elephant trainer during the Busch years, Ossy became Germany's top promoter of international rock concerts, a field in which he still is a recognized leader today.
