Comments / picturesSondelani Game Lodge is situated in West Nicholson, on the road between Beit Bridge and Bulawayo in Zimbabwe, close to the town Gwanda, and the border of South Africa.

Between 2002 and 2006, 10 wild caught elephants from Dubane Forest were tamed and trained by the Swedish elephant trainer Dan Koehl, assisted by his two foremen Luckson Mwayemudza and Sibangilizwe Ncube, as well as 20 keepers from the Shona tribe. Most of those elephants are now residing at Victoria Falls, in Zimbabwe.
