Carl Hagenbecks Tierpark (Neue Pferdemarkt), located at Neuer Pferdemarkt 13, in Hamburg, Germany , was founded in 1874. Carl Hagenbecks Tierpark (Neue Pferdemarkt) closed down in 1902.

Comments / pictures1874: Carl Hagenbeck moved the animals to Neupferdemarkt and called it Carl Hagenbecks Tierpark, also known from this time as Hagenbek Thierpark.
1893: C.H. started to show animals behind moats without a fence.
1902: The animals were moved to the new Carl Hagenbecks Tierpark in Stellingen, Hamburg.
