Drona
Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) at

Drona was born wild ~1980 at Nagarhole National Park, captured 2014 .

According to the direction of the Government, the Forest Department staff began the capturing of the rouge elephants and for a whole year from 2014 to 2015, they captured 22 elephants through ‘Khedda’ operation.

2019-04-27: A 39-year-old elephant that had made its appearance in two editions of Mysuru Dasara died of cardiac arrest at Mathigodu elephant camp in Nagarahole Tiger Reserve on Friday
