2022-04-29: Tolstoy was treated for a spear wound over a month ago. He was speared while crop raiding and he was treated by the KWS Veterinary Unit supported by SWT. In the weeks after his treatment he seemed better, but was then found very sick two days ago. The KWS vets came once more to try and help him, even trying to bring him to his Feet. Sadly he died while they were trying to save his life. His death was caused from the infection after a spear wound.
