Contradictory records:

The North American Regional Studbook for the African Elephant states Bubbles arrived at T.I.G.E.R.S. in 1986 from animal dealer Jurgen Schulz. Her birth is listed in 1983. However, the records of elephant historian Bob Cline state she was purchased from David Meeks in 1984. The zoo's website states the 350 pound baby elephant arrived in 1984, as well.
