† Beré is a dead Female ♀ African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana), , who died 2021-10-14 at Belo Horizonte Zoobotanica, in Brazil, . Official death reason described as General infection. She had been under veterinary care since July 5th after developing uterine and lung problems.
Beré was born wild 1975.
She came to the zoo as an exchange of animals. She had four calves with the male Joca. Berés first baby was a very difficult delay so the vets made a surgery to take out the dead baby.
