Ladybird
African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) at

Ladybird was born wild 1971, captured 1972 . and imported 1972 by International Animal Exchange (Ferndale)

In 2006, the zoo tried again to acquire another elephant and Ladybird was transferred from the Lion Country Safari in Florida.

2014-03-03: Ladybird, a 44 year old African elephant, died on Monday, at the Greenville Zoo (South Carolina).
