Comments / pictures

Eleonor was orphaned when she was 2 years old and named for Lady Eleanor Renison, the wife of the then Governor of Kenya, who was in the party that found and saved her.

Eleanor arrived at the Elephant Stockades in Tsavo late one afternoon in 1965.
