Goni (Beule) was born wild 1993 at Africa unspecified location, captured 1995 .

After arrival in Osnabrueck, she attacked the elephant keepers and initiated the Protected Contact concept at the facility in 2004.
Her aggressive temperament made her the dominant animal at the zoo in Germany. In 2008 she injured herdmate Sabi, prompting her transfer to another location. She will join two older cows and a bull in France.
