Duchess

Duchess was born wild 1970.

Duchess and Gay both arrived to the Paignton Zoo from Longleat Safari in 1977. In April 2005, the zoo began separating the pair at night after Duchess injured Gay with her Tusks overnight.

In January 2010, the Paignton Zoo announced Duchess was being treated for cataracts in one eye, already blind in the other.
