Born 1889-02-22 in United Kingdom dead 1920-12-21 in United Kingdom , son of director Edward Bostock .

John Reginald Wombwell Bostock (1889 - 1920). Died 21/12/1920 from injuries received in a motor accident in Cannock, Staffs.

1915-06-26: The marriage took place on Thursday last at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, of Mr. John R. W. Bostock, youngest son of Mr. E. H. Bostock, to Miss Jennie Bonnar of Ottowa, Canada and formerly of Paisley. Mr. Gus Bostock acted as best man. The bridegroom has for some time been manager of his father’s touring menagerie.

1917-02: My youngest son Jack, John Reginald Wombwell Bostock, has now joined the Army, leaving the menagerie.

Educated at the Dollar Academy, Perthshire.
He was a champion cyclist and roller skater.
After working for some time in his father's businesses he was commissioned in the R.A.S.C. in motor transport in World war I.
On his release from the army in March 1919 his father presented Bostock & Wombwell's Menagerie to him. He managed it with success until he received fatal injuries in a car crash. JKBL

Known as Jack (from his father's book 'Menageries, Circuses and Theatres').
