Geoffrey Lennon , circus director in Australia Born 1961 , son of director Lindsay Lennon and director Janice Lennon . Geoffrey Lennon is a 5th Generation and the eldest of 4 brothers, son of Lindsay Lennon, one of Australia’s foremost circus proprietors. 2001: A circus audience in Sydney, Australia watched as lion trainer, Geoffrey Lennon of the Lennon Brothers Circus, was mauled by two of the lions. According to spectators, one lion jumped on Lennon soon after the act began with the second quickly joining in. Circus staff used water hoses in order to free Lennon, who was treated for cuts and wounds to his chest, back and buttocks. Geoffrey has now retired and assists with his knowledge for his wife Cheryl. Managers Cheryl and Geoffrey Lennon, with brother Warren, are part of the fifth generation of the Lennon family, that has operated the circus since 1893.
