Zhukov Trophy circus, Russia , was founded in 1945 and the first elephant arrived in 1945.


Comments / picturesA circus was captured in Berlin during the Battle of Berlin as a trophy by Marshal Georgy Zhukov and brought to Moscow, including the female Asian elephant Punchi, who together with her keeper was relocated to Circus Durov in Moscow.
