Southern Circus (Gilbert Eldred), United States , was founded in 1856.


Comments / picturesJohn Robinson had the circus Robinson & Eldred together with Gilbert Eldred, from 1845 until they split in 1856, and Robinson sold his part to Eldred, who toured the circus under the name Southern Circus.
1858: visited Mexico.
1859 the title became Franconi & Eldred.
