Comments / picturesThe founder of Circus Orfei, Ferdinando Orfei, had 6 sons from his wife Maria Torri (Veca): Enrico Orfei, Orfeo Orfei, Vittoria Orfei, Paolo Orfei, Giocanna Orfei and Cecilia Orfei.

His son Paolo Orfei married twice and had 5 sons from his first wife Ersilia Rizzoli was: Riccardo (called Bigolon Orfei, 1908-1942), Paride (called Pippo Orfei, 1909-1956), Miranda Orfei, (1913-1988), Irma Orfei (b. 1916), and the son Orlando Orfei (1920-2015).

Paolos son Ricardo Orfei (called Bigolon Orfei, 1908-1942) married Violetta Arata and had the daughter Miranda (1931-2015) changed her name to Moira Orfei and founded Circo Moira Orfei 1960, and the two sons Paolo (b. 1933) and Mauro Orfei (b. 1941).

Paolos son Paride (clown Pippo Orfei 1909-1956) married Alba Furini, they have children Nando Orfei (1934-2014) who founded Circo Nando Orfei, Liana Orfei and Rinaldo Orfei who founded Circo Rinaldo Orfei.

Paolos son Orlando Orfei (1920-2015) founded Circo Orlando Orfei in Italy 1968 and Tivoli Park da Lago in 1972. Orlando married Herta Herling and lived most of his life in Brazil. They had the children Alberto Orfei, Viviane Orfei, Mario Orfei, Maurizia Orfei, Isabella Orfei and Gabriela Orfei. Their circus closed down in Brazil in 2006.
