Comments / pictures1952: The circus went on a tour through Spain, equipped with 14 complete animal numbers, a rolling zoo with 42 horses, seven polar bears, six elephants, five lions, four brown bears, with zebras, ponies, donkeys, with 80 wagons and 35 German personnel.

During 40 years in the profession as elephant trainer, Josef Holzmüller owned 18 elephants.

1954: Circus has returned with five wagons, three emaciated elephants, two ponies, a donkey and a depressed director Willi Holzmüller. With heavy losses and in desperate attempts to hold off, the company fell apart.
