Rex (Bimbo, Barney) arrived in 2011-12-13 to the Oklahoma City Zoo, relocated from the African Lion Safari (Ontario), in Canada.

In April 2006, African Lion Safari celebrated the birth of two female Asian elephants in ten days - Logan and Emily, both sired by Rex and born to Lilly and Kitty. Of the five males currently residing at the park, Rex sired two of the them while Calvin sired the other two before his transfer to Europe in 2000. In the late 70's bought 3 little males from Gary Johnson Bimbo now called Rex Vance and Casey Without much knowledge of elephants. My dad went on to work Vance and Casey for the next 10 years or so.
