† Mavuso (wild) is a dead Male ♂ African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana), , who died 2020-08-28 at Pilanesberg National Park, in South Africa, .
Mavuso (wild) was born wild at Kruger National Park.
Mavusu was named in honour of Mr Mavuso Msimang, the CEO of the South African National Parks Board at the time for, and present by Mavuso's capture. On 28 August 2020 Mavuso succumbed to injuries from a fight with another elephant bull.
