This elephant, which can only controlled by Mr. Yord, who has been her Mahout since more than 25 years, has a lot to tell. At the age of 16 she started working in the logging industry. She was doing this difficult and dangerous work for 12 years. During this time Mae Kham got pregnant and although she was allowed to rest for most of the time during her pregnancy, she lost her baby while giving birth. After this misfortune she never got pregnant again.
