Estrella was born wild 1964-06-00, captured 1966 .

Contradictory records:

EEG claim arrival in BD on March 8th, while BD state she arrived there in March 20th.

Estrella did not have this house name until her arrival 1990 in Spain.
Identity of previous house names are not known.

Moved on from France as apparently attacked a keeper. Moved on from Spain as had difficulties in the Herd.

According to EEG/Haufellner, she was the largest female african elephant in europe.

2013-07-04: She was euthanized due to arthritis/joint problems that caused her to fall and was unable to get back up.
