Trained by Hagenbecks chief elephant trainer Wilhelm Philadelphia. Sold to Cuneos menagerie for 6 000 German marks. Winter 1907: Came to Cuneos together with the keeper Gottlieb Heyd, and Hagenbecks chief trainer Wilhelm Philadelphia, who returned to Hamburg after delivery of Topsy. Shortly after Philadelphia returned to Hamburg, during show in the Swedish town Norrköping, Topsy managed to escape, and spent several days in the snowy weather in the forest between Norrköping and Söderköping. The Swedish olympic gold medal winner Gustaf Lindblom helped Cuneo to catch Topsy and afterwards got the nick name Topsy. One source claim she died in 1909.
