Noor Jahan was born captive-born 1995-11-24 at Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary (WLS camp).

2008-10-17: Noorjahan, an Asian female, at Twycross Zoo in the UK was confirmed pregnant via AI.

2009-10-06 A male baby was born. The sire is Emmet, an American born bull (Indy x Romani), at Whipsnade. Noorjahan is the first Asian elephant in the United Kingdom to conceive via Artificial insemination.

2024-03-26: Mother and daughter Noorjahan and Esha are both pregnant and due to give birth in late 2024.
