Raja was born wild 2011, captured 2013 .

2013-01: An elephant calf which was spotted at areas adjacent to Hatiatara forest near Jhargram was brought to the mini zoo here by forest officials. Divisional forest officer A P Singh said it was probably left behind by a Herd which was seen in the area recently.
