Ndhuna is a living Male ♂ African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) , located at the Kruger National Park, in South Africa.

Ndhuna was born wild at Kruger National Park.

Comments / pictures

Ndhuna entered Kruger National Park (KNP) two weeks after his first collaring in July 2018. After 2 months in the park, he settled in the areas surrounding Satara. Then, in January 2019, he started making his way back to the Associated Private Nature Reserves (APNR). We set out in search of him and once he was located, we soon realised he was in Musth. After spending three months in the APNR, he finished his Musth cycle and made his way back to KNP. Ndhuna has been visiting the APNR during Musth ever since, as seen in the map depicting his movements from January and February of 2022.
