Starred in Clint Eastwood's White Hunter, Black Heart, where he became known in Hollywood as "one-take Abu".

2002: Suffered a severe leg injury in a confrontation with a wild bull, which forced him to put all weight on his other front leg, which led to a fatal Heart attack.
