1948: Oskar Hoppe married for the third time. His new wife was Augusta Holzmüller (1907-1981), the daughter of circus director Josef Holzmüller (1872-1947) and sister of Willi Holzmüller and Max Holzmüller, circus directors and renowned elephant trainers.
