Born 1875 in United Kingdom dead 1978-11-13 , son of director Dick Chipperfield Sr. and assistant director Maud Chipperfield .

Johnny Chipperfield (1875–1978) was a rider, clown and animal trainer. John L., was the son of Richard Chipperfield (born 1875) and Maud née Seaton and he was the younger brother of Dick, Maud, Jimmy and Marjorie.

Johnny married Doris Morche, a member of a German springboard troupe.

John L. Chipperfield assisted by Jim Stockley, on tour in South Africa, 1965.
