Chief Mahout Hen Moel , Brau camp mahout in Cambodia

Born 1960 in Cambodia , son of mahout Khein Moel and wife Vi Mein .

Hen was born in 1960, and he is married to the village shaman. Father of two daughters, he also has two grandchildren, he enjoys working in the fields and taking care of his cows and buffaloes.

Hen is now Chief Mahout at Airavata Foundation, and when he was young he worked with his father’s elephants all females: Ikoum, Itou, Itao, Kamplah and Iplah who is now in Siem Reap.
