During a tour with Circus Madigan, Henning Orlando married Hedvig Andersson (1871–1944), in December 1892, and later they had the children Othelia "Thea"" Mandarinea and Ernst Orlando. After divorce, Hedvig married Karl Kruse, the head electrician at Circus Corty, and they settled in Dresden, Germany. 1920-1925 Henning Orlando and his daughter Othelia Orlando toured around Europe, first with Bertram Mills Circus, and then with a number of circuses, finishing at the Hippodrome Theatre in New York. After he bought Cirkus Madigan 1902, Orlando founded Circus Orlando, and in 1935 he bought land in Fosie, outside Malmö. He invited his ex-wife and new husband to join him at his circus, and Hedvig Andersson, her husband Karl Kruse, and their son Theodor arrived the same year. Karl Kruse became horse trainer, and his and Hedvigs son Theodor became Orlandos Stablemaster. 1938: Toured Sweden together with Circus Strassburger under the name Cirkus Orlando-Strassburger. At the end of the season 1942, the Circus Orlando and the winter quarters in Malmo were bought by Trolle Rhodin who renamed the circus to Zoo Circus. The family Kruse joined him, and Theodor Kruse remained as stable master for Trolle Rhodin on the new circus, where Theodors son Gösta Kruse, born in 1927, started his career as elephant trainer.
