George Wirth , circus director in Australia

Born 1867 dead 1941 , son of artist John Wirth and other Sarah Phillips .

About 1881 the brothers joined Ashton's Circus as Wirth's Tourist Band. Next year they set up their own troupe, Wirths Circus.

The deaths of John junior in 1894 and Harry in 1895 left control to Philip and George, and their sister Marizles.
