Comments / pictures2020-09-01: Botswana-based elephant conservationist Douglas Groves who dedicated his life to working with and studying elephants has died. Elephant whisperer Douglas Groves passed away after being trampled by a wild elephant, his wife Sandi confirmed on Monday. She said Groves was out in the bush when the incident took place.

2023-08-22: With a heavy heart, we must share the news that we have lost Morula. On May 12, 2023, Botswana Animal Problem Control made the decision to euthanize her, deeming her a danger to a nearby camp. Though we faced some complications with reporting this earlier due to local processes, we are now able to share this update. The experience has been profoundly distressing for me, and I deeply appreciate the support I've received.
