Franklin Zoo and Wildlife sanctuary, located at 83 Ridge Road, Whangarata, in Tuakau, New Zealand and the first elephant arrived in 2009. The last elephant left in 2013.

Heading south, take the Ridge Road turnoff (474) on SH1, and 5km along Ridge Road on the right.
Heading north, turn off at Pokeno then head along Tuakau Road, turn right into Ridge Road and about 500m on the left.
