Comments / pictures1996: The park opens with 9 Sumatran Elephants (among them; Kusuma and Ramona).

1997: 8 more Sumatran Elephants are rescued from Sumatra (among them; Ardila, Arum, Desi, Eva, and Sengigi), making a total of 17 Elephants.

2004: In October 2004, Mason and his team rescued and brought 10 elephants from Sumatra to Bali , including 2 baby elephants, (2 year old Debby & 4 year old Ryan), making a total of 27 Elephants. Their journey was filmed by an Australian film company under the name "Operation Jumbo".

2009: 3 elephant babies born; In mid 2009 the Park’s first naturally conceived baby elephant is born. The first birth was quickly followed by two more this year, making a total of 30 Elephants.

2012: The fourth baby Elephant (Fajar) is born, making a total of 31 Elephants.

2020: Krishna was born, making a total of 32 Elephants, of which six were naturally born in the camp.
