Plai Wan
Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) at

Plai is a prefix name, orginally a Mon word, meaning youthful male or a strong man, today used in Thailand for male elephants with tusks.

Plai Wan was born unknown 1987 at Asia unspecified location.

2012-03: Male elephant Sidor Plaiwan collapsed and died from Heart failure after chasing its Mahout in Nakhon Si Thammarat province on Saturday. The Mahout was unhurt. The 25-year-old jumbo killed its previous owner when it went berserk last month.
