An elephant died at a zoo in Bilaspur district, forest officials said Wednesday. A post-mortem report confirmed Wednesday that the one-and-half-month old elephant had died Tuesday at Kanan Pendari zoo, mainly due to dehydration. Forest officials had brought the jumbo to Kanan Pendari Nov 5 in an injured condition from a forested area of Raigarh district after it got separated from its Herd.
