Fresia
Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) at
Santiago Zoo in Chile

Fresia was born wild at Asia unspecified location.

It is said she came from Rio in 1940, or 1948:
"In 1940 one of the zoo’s most famous residents, the elephant Fresia, arrived from Rio de Janeiro. Fresia would remain one of the zoo’s primary attractions until her death 51 years later in 1991."

But this claim can not be confirmed, and nothing about this is mentioned in the news from that time.
