Pelusa was born wild 1971.

2018-06-04: Pelusa stays down and "shows no will to get up". The values of the analyzes "started to deteriorate". The director of the Brazilian elephant sanctuary in which Pelusa was to be transferred in the coming days said that "everything indicates that the elephant is in the final phase of his life.
