Anna was born wild 1960.

Anna was born 1960 in Tanzania, and came to Vienna Zoo from Hellabrunn Tierpark (Munich Zoo) 1993.

In Munich she was leader of the elephants, while in Vienna she went down in health and hierarchy.

After problems with an abcess in her front foot she became worse and worse and died during 2001.
