Mae is a prefix name, used in Burma, Laos and Thailand for female elephants, often for females who had babies. (Mae means mother)

2020-08-06: End of July Boontong by accident got a twig in her eye, while eating Bamboo. A veterinary has been suprvising the eye, but decided on last Monday, that the elephant needed treatment at the elephant hospital in Lampang, where she was transported on the same day.
