The Billboard elephant census published in 1952 shows she was sold to Suesz the year prior and renamed Dixie. A 1955 news article identifies the 60 year old along with 20-year-old Elise at his winter quarters in Edmond, Oklahoma. Robert Cline lists that she died there in January 1957.

"Jennie" was named after Baraboo's own Jennie O'Brien, who had been an equestrienne with the Ringling Bros. circus
